We're getting more and more excited everyday. The baby now kicks but I still have yet to accurately distinguish the difference between a kick or a stomach growl The baby moves a lot at night and when I drink cold water.
Tam talks to my belly everyday. I tell him to stop screaming at the baby since he talks with his lips pressed on my tummy. As uncomfortable as pregnancy is, I know I'm going to miss it a lot when it's over.

My nephews, Jason and Niki are so cute. When I lay down in bed, they put their hands on my belly waiting for the baby to kick. Sometimes, they take several minutes just putting their ears against my stomach and waiting for movement. Jason

promised me that he'll baby-sit our baby. Niki, on the other hand, wants proof that there is actually a baby inside and insists on looking under my skirt. When I told him that the baby will call him Kuya Niki, his response was that it's my job to teach the baby that :-). They're so adorable. I cant' wait to see the cousins play with each other. Our baby will have two cousins on Tam's side as well -- Kimberly and Carolyn.

I can hardly move now. Little tasks such as picking up something from the floor or even cutting my toe nails are very tiring. I'm going to try to walk for an hour every day from now on. My back aches constantly and my belly itches like crazy. I have to hold on to something when I get up from a chair and I have to roll out of bed. It's funny.

The cool thing about being pregnant is that people help me all the time. I was at Staples yesterday carrying two reams of paper and this guy who was standing behind me in line insisted on carrying it for me. I feel like a queen! :-)

The baby now weighs about 1 lb and 6 ozs and about 11.5 inches from head to toe. The baby's nostrils are now open and it can hear my heart beating and my stomach growling.

I think it's time for Tam and I to seriously think about preparing the house for the baby now.
