From the operating table, this is my first view of her.  She was beautiful.  Ten little fingers and ten little toes ... Tam looked excited.  I watched him take pictures with one hand and video the entire event with the other.  He was hesitant to cut the umbilical cord when we talked about it before we arrived at the hospital but he was eager to do it when it was finally time.

She's been fed and bundled.  Now I get to stare at her.

Tia pretty much sleeps all day.  She only wakes up for diaper change or feeding.  We sometimes keep her up longer than she wants to be so we can play with her.

She makes the cutest expressions.  She often times smiles while she's sleeping.  Her guardian angels must be playing with her.  We caught the tail end of a smile here.

And yes ... she does wake up sometimes ...

We're finally ready to take Tia home ...

Welcome home, Tia!

Our nextdoor neighbors, Nancy and Ayjay also came by to visit.

Audrey came by to visit Tia and also give a few tips to the new mommy and daddy :-)

Grandma

Tia loves it when Papa Joe burps her.  Magically, she stops crying when Papa holds her like this.
