Month 10
December17 - January 16

This month is the most exciting yet.  I know I say that every month but each day is just better than the last.

The biggest challenge for us is changing her diapers.  She just runs away.  This is where octopus mommies have huge advantage over us humans :-)  She's also tough to feed.  She cries when we put on her seat belt and if we don't she tries to climb the table.  So feeding her involves chasing her.  Since she doesn't eat much, we decided to focus on just feeding her and I guess the disciplining will happen later.

Here we are at Kuya Niki's 7th birthday party at Chuckee Cheese.   Daddy gave me a balloon and I loved it.

I never saw Kuya Niki because I played on the baby side but I had so much fun!!!

Mommy got in on it too

When we got back home, grandma and grandpa called to say they were visiting.  What a fun day!

I helped mommy decorate the tree this year.  What did I do?  I sat still for 15 minutes while she put on the trimmings.  Yep!  I was a good little helper!

Uncle Steve passed on a bracelet that Ong Rau gave him when he was an infant to me.  Ong Rau is my great grandfather.

Nothing will be left untouched!

I love the French Rolls grandma brought over for our Christmas party.  Mommy tries to take it away but I'm stronger than her.

Here I am at independent play time.  That's mommy and daddy's phrase for "please let us rest a little"

La-la-la-la ... Elmo's World!
I LOVE Sesame Street.  Especially Elmo.  I'm learning to pronounce some of the letters of the day and I dance along with the characters.  I  also like Grover, Ernie, Bert, Big Bird, Prairie Dawn and Cookie Monster.  This is definitely even better than Baby Einstein.

I love to read.  I look at pictures and I point it to mommy and daddy.  Sometimes I try to teach them what I'm pointing at by talking but I don't think they know what I'm saying so I make funny sounds instead.

On New Year's Day, I dressed up in polka dots.  Mommy said that it's a Filipino tradition.  It's for good luck.

We watched the rose parade.  I made sure I waved hello to everybody waving on the floats. Here I am taking a break with daddy.  He's playing "catch" with me.

Mommy gives me more table food now.  It's a mess but I love it.

I like watching Baby Rapon mommy's computer.  She said she listened to this a lot when she was pregnant because it cracked her up.

Thank you for letting me play with the cell phone :-)
(Tia already broke both our cell phones while playing with them)

I try to help mommy now when bathing by doing exactly what she asks me to do.  It's faster this way.

Some pool toys brought here by the rains.  Tia waves hello to them everyday.  She also tried to carry a conversation.  The frog is sticking its tounge out so when we ask Tia to "be like the froggie", she'll stick her tongue out.

And right before Tia turned 10 months, she learned how to walk.
