| Month 7 |

September 17 - October 16 |
|
What an exciting month! She eats solid foods daily. She now has 4
upper teeth and 2 lower. She's able to communicate more. She baby
talks a lot. She sleeps for longer periods during the day. She's
able to stand up while holding on to something. She crawls about a step
or two and sits back down. She prefers to stand though. She tries
to crack me up by blowing bubbles in my stomach and looks up to see if I'm
laughing. If I am, she opens her mouth big and dives right into my belly
again. She jumps up and down whenever she sees mommy or daddy come
home. She tries to grab absolutely everything! We have to be more
watchful. Instead of relaxing in her swing, she's more interested in climbing
it now. She's becoming very active. As excited as we are to see her
walking, there's a little bit of fear :-)

She had this phase where she squirms a lot whenever I put something
over her head so I tell her that she'll just have to wear her shirt as a
hat. She doesn't seem to mind ...

Whenever we walk to the living room and I slow
down, she starts to smile because she knows daddy is around the corner.
So we play peek-a-boo and she smiles big at daddy.

Sometimes she tries to stand on her own. She's successful for a few
seconds but eventually falls on her bottom. It's so cute watching her
balance (she stretches both arms)

again. In this playpen, she usually catches herself before falling
down. She's able to walk from one fence to another now.

Uncle Steve, daddy's cousin, came from Chicago
to visit the family. Here we are at the Huntington Beach pier.

Tia started crawling this month but would only
take a step or two then sits back down or rolls to her back. Here she is
at Alyssa's 2nd Birthday party held at MyGym at Huntington Beach.
