Tia and her Auntie Thao ...

She stands up on her own with ease and very little support.  She always flashes a smile after she stands up.  She's very proud of this skill :-)

Tia sits beside me in the kitchen while I'm cooking.  She's pretty patient but she starts getting irritable when I take too long.

Tia met 5-week old Maya.  They're going to be biking buddies someday.

At 7 months, Tia would always sit here and stand straight up (from a sitting position) without any support.  Unfortunately, she also tries to climb it to get higher.  It's not very stable but so far, she hasn't fallen  yet. 

She climbs EVERYTHING!  She has some sort of judgment as to what is stable and what is not (somewhat).  She usually leaves one leg dangling until she finds a stable spot to step on.  Of course, it's still a trial and error process but I'd say she's successful 95% of the time.  

She likes relaxing on this spot while watching activities going on around her.  She does this quite often when she sees that mommy and daddy too busy to pick her up or play with her.

She loves playing!  And of course, mommy loves it too!

And sometimes, she just likes kicking back ...
