Month 9
November 17 - December 16

She says ma-ma.  She says da-da.  She screams when she's not getting her way.  It's becoming clearer who's really in charge.

This is me hanging out with my auntie ...

This is me with cousin Kimberly on my first Thanksgiving.

Mommy and daddy has been taking me to the mall this month.  I love watching all the action.  But mommy keeps telling me to stop grabbing stuff from the shelves.  I thought that's what I was supposed to do.

I think I understand what people are telling me now ...  Grown-ups are funny!

1-2-3 JUMP!!!

I'm not sure if I like baths anymore.  I hate it when water gets to my eyes and mommy won't let me put the shampoo bottle in my mouth.  Where are my bath toys, mommy?!??!

Now I get it!  I'm supposed to smile when they point that thing at me ...

There it is again ... SMILE !!!!

Are you watching this, daddy?  I love the little toys!!

Eck!  They're trying to give me apples again ...

Fruit puffs!!! Yey!  Mommy said something about my "pincer grasp".  Who cares?!?!  FRUIT PUFFS -- woohoo!

"Blow bubbles, Tia ..."

I am the ruler of this house.  See my scepter.

Daddy got me this bike.  Pedals?  What pedals?  I think I'm supposed to sit in it while daddy pushes me around.  I LIKE MY BIKE!!!

DODGEBALL!!
Mommy had my ears pierced.  I cried a little but I felt better after mommy gave me a hug AND a wagon wheel snack :-)

At eight months old, Tia learned to lift both hands up when we yelled "Touchdown!!!" (football season, of course :-))

Tia at 9 months. Taken on December 16, 2004.
